At Timber Yard Direct Products, we supply a fantastic range of decking timber to help you create your own garden paradise. Getting out into nature is proven to be wonderful for your physical well-being and personal happiness. The mix of vitamin D and the warmth of the sun can offer much-needed escapism, and an outside timber decking solution means even people living in built-up urban areas can benefit.

Our timber decking boards are made from high-quality ethically sourced redwood, meaning not only are you getting a durable and stable material highly resistant to decay, rot and insect infestation that is less likely to warp and shrink, but also a sustainable timber coming from managed forests reducing its environmental impact. And we supply our redwood timber decking in machine-grooved and planed variants.

Grooved Decking Board

Contrary to popular belief, grooves on decking boards are not to improve grip. You would need to install a grip strip for this. They are also not for drainage as all boards are installed with a 5mm gap between offering ample drainage. The grooves are designed for additional air flow providing the board with greater longevity. They were also intended to be laid groove down, but the aesthetic appealed to many and they were flipped over. The people have spoken, and we agree with the people.

Smooth Decking Board

Decking boards gained popularity in the late 1990s and a smooth finish was intended to reflect an extension of your interior floors as you took your inside, outside. A huge benefit of smooth decking boards is the ease of cleaning and maintenance ensuring your gorgeous redwood timber decking stays that way.

Browse our superb range of decking timber to discover a new way to enjoy your garden. If you are unsure of which product is best for you, then please get in touch with our friendly team for some expert advice and guidance.

I have been using these folks for the past couple of years. The name may have changed but the staff have been brilliant.
From the office staff to the driver. The professional approach If they said they will deliver on a day its there. So, I'm not a trader but a DIY guy finishing of his property. I'm hoping after the name change, more trader's will buy from this company and keep them in business.

Got a sheet of MDF for a DIY wall panelling. Much cheaper than these kits at the big stores. I went with the dimensions and cuts. The Person who dealt with me was super helpful and knowledgeable. They also did the cuts for me and even gave me any excess material left over.
